General Rules

1. Students who are admitted as boarders must follow the rules of the Hostel .Students found breaking the rules willfully and repeatedly will not only be expelled from the hostel but from the school as well.

2. A student who has been admitted as a boarder will not be allowed to continue in the school as a dayscholar

3. Strict discipline is maintained in the school premises and all the boarders are expected to follow the rules without exception

4. Students will have to follow the hostel time table explicitly.

5.No student may excuse himself/herself from morning and evening study hours which are supervised by the resident teachers unless allowed by the Hostel Superintendent

6. Students will not be allowed to keep the following in  possession while in the hostel: Mobile ; Video Games ; Magazines of objectionable nature ; MP3 players/CD players ; valuable articles such as gold ornaments/expensive watches etc

7. All clothing and personal articles should be labeled for easy identification

8. Supervised outing will be organized only once a month. However, outings will be sanctioned only at the sole discretion of the Hostel in Charge. If he or she deems that the outing should be cancelled then it shall be so.

9. All boarders are treated on an equal basis. Hence no special favors should be sought.

10. Outsiders will not be allowed to meet the boarders without the sanction of the Hostel Superintendent. Parents and Guardians must also sign the visitor's book in order to visit their ward/s.

11. Parents/Guardians are specially requested not to call up their children too often as it disturbs the child. Also, calls may not be made during all times. Calls can only be made on Saturdays in the morning hours .i.e. from 10 am to 12 noon

12. Boarders will not be allowed to visit friends etc during weekends and stay over at night. KINDLY DO NOT MAKE SUCH REQUESTS AS THEY WILL BE FLATLY REFUSED.

13. Hostel fees may be paid in equal installments. However, they should be paid in advance.

14. Boarders will be allowed to avail of  the school library/Computer room facilities if and  when sanctioned by  the Superintendent

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

School Uniform

Minimum of two sets of school uniform must be made which should include  two school cardigans and a school monogrammed coat(polyester)

There should be at least two half sleeve white shirts and two full sleeved white shirts

House / PT Dress as per regulation

School ties / school socks / school badge and school belt.

OTHERS

Umbrella and rain coat : minimum one of each

Towels : face towels 2 Nos

             bath towel : 1 No.

Undergarments : As per requirements

OUTING UNIFORM : As per regulation

HOSTEL UNIFORM : As per regulation

Other coloured  clothes as per requirement

BEDDING (Mattress  and a pillow will be provided by the hostel)

Thick Blanket (quilt) One

Think blanket (for summer months) One

Bedsheets : 2 Nos

Pillow covers : 3 Nos

Mosquito net (compulsory) 1 No.

Trunk with lock and key

One tuck box

Black shoes 1 pair

White canvas shoes 1 pair

White PT socks : 2 pairs

Slippers : 1 pair

TOILETRIES

Soap : (for bathing) half dozen

Hair oil (of students own choice)

Plastic mug and bucket One of each

Soap case : 1

Toothbrush and toothpaste

Shoe polish and brush

Toilet paper : minimum 4 rolls (large size)

Handkerchiefs : half dozen with Initials ( stitched or written with permanent marker)
